Handmade cone 6 stoneware mug. Wheel thrown from a dark chocolatey clay body. The outside of the mug is painted with commercial underglases. Glazed on the inside only. The outside has been brushed with a gerstley borate wash to give it a nice sheen without detracting from the natural beauty of the clay itself. The bottom of the mug is polished smooth. Food safe.
